Fourth edition of Lodge’s translation, title slightly frayed at fore-edge (not affecting text) and laid down, ‘A Briefe Computation’ leaf torn and cropped with some loss of text and bound after title, leaves Aa3 and Aa4 slightly worn at edges with some loss of text, lacking dedication leaf and final leaf of ‘The Table’, early signature of John Clark on p. 533, [STC 14812], early 20^th century calf gilt, later endpapers, folio, London: J.L. for Andrew Hebb, 1632.

***Lodge produced the first English translation of Josephus which was published in 1602.
