A late 19th century Austrian silver gilt, rock crystal, and enamel figural bowl, Vienna circa 1880 by Hermann Ratzersdorfer (1845 - 1894)
the stem formed as a stork, the bowl section of rock crystal carved with foliate scrolls, the upper band with painted enamel of an exotic bird hunt, the domed foot similarly formed with a band of birds and other animals, such as a snake, frog, and chameleon. Marked to the mount, and with makers mark HR.
