A rare early Victorian sterling silver ‘Abercorn pattern’ table bell, London 1838 by Robert Garrard II (reg. 16th April 1818)

Of hemispherical form with panelled decoration of flat chased and punch work of lattices and rosettes. The shaped handle with lobed knops and engraved decoration. Clapper on chain to interior. Fully marked to side, the clapper with lion passant only.

Height – 10.5 cm / 4.15 inches

Weight – 228 grams / 7.33 ozt
