The crest is for Ogilvy

for Walter Ogilvy, de jure 8th Earl of Airlie (1733–1819) as Baron Ogilvy of Airlie (est. 1491). Inheriting the title from his cousin David Ogilvy, de jure 7th Earl of Airlie (1751–1812) who died on 6 April 1812. The Earldom of Airlie was attainted from 1717 due to the de jure 4th Earl’s part in the Jacobite rebellion, and again for the de jure 6th Earl of Airlie who supported the young pretender at Culloden in 1745. Walter claimed the Earldom but died before any decision was reached, hence the Baron’s crest as 15th Baron Ogilvy of Airlie, it was eventually restored in 1826 by Act of Parliament to his son David (1785 – 1849). The family seats are Airlie Castle and Cortachy Castle, near Kirriemuir, Angus, in Scotland.
