A George II sterling silver ‘sparrow beak’ cream jug, London 1736 by John Gamon (reg. 22nd March 1727)
Of baluster form upon a domed circular foot with incised concentric circles, the double C scroll handle with a shaped drop junction. Engraved to the front with late 18th century initials EC in flourished cursive script. Fully marked underneath.
