A George II sterling silver cream pail, London 1758 by Thomas Moore II (reg. 21st Aug 1750)
Of everted cylindrical form with bands of incised concentric lines to resemble coopering, a swing pierced handle. Fully marked underneath, the handle with a lion passant only.
