Persian and Arabic manuscript on paper, 260ff. plus 2 flyleaves, each folio with 19ll. of black ink naskh script, some Arabic text with red interlinear Persian translation in nasta’liq script, the opening bifolio with illuminated heading predominantly in red, blue and gold, the borders of polylobed floral cartouches interlinked with scrolling gold foliage, significant words in red, catchwords, within black and gold rules, in tooled brown calf binding and red spine, the text panel 14.5cm x 8cm, the folio 19cm x 12.5cm.
