The joint lengths of off-white cotton ground worked in coloured silks with pinks and turquoise in predominance, in a variety of stitches with a repeating grid of lozenges framing delicate sprays of flora and fruit, the border with stylised flowers within lozenges of jagged leaves, edged with bias cut striped red and yellow silk, lined in printed cotton, 243cm x 165cm.
