A DOULTON LAMBETH FAIENCE STONEWARE MANTEL CLOCK, circa 1880s, the ceramic case with a flared top, the body painted with white flowers on a blue ground, with two scrolling handles, over a pair of masks holding garlands of flowers in their mouths, on a circular socle base, the underside bearing a green Doulton Lambeth stamp, an impressed Faience stamp, painted number 2852, monogrammed for Mary Capes (some restoration); the clock itself having a silvered dial with Arabic numerals, engraved to the centre,the movement stamped 'GR 3284', striking on a bell, with key.
