A Victorian sterling silver three-piece bachelor tea service, London 1886 by Horace Woodward & Co (Edgar Finley & Hugh Taylor) comprising a teapot, milk jug and twin handled sugar bowl. Each of shaped oval form raised on four ball feet. The teapot with an ebonised plain loop handle , the domed hinged lid raised by an ebonised domed finial. The bodies profusely decorated with embossing of foliate scrolls against a matted ground, with a vacant cartouche to either side. All fully and part-marked. (3) Teapot length - 20.5 cm / 8.1 inches Weight - 460 grams / 14.79 ozt
