Of rectangular shape, painted in cobalt blue, copper green, and turquoise with black outlines against a plain earthenware ground covered in white slip, depicting the image of Christ Pantocrator with a large circular halo holding the Gospels in his left hand, one of the most iconic religious images of Orthodox Christianity widely occurring in Byzantine art and architecture, 12.8cm x 8cm.
