An early George III sterling silver lemon strainer, London 1762 by Samuel Herbert and Henry Bailey (reg. 6th Nov 1750)
of circular form with a gadrooned rim, the twin handles formed as acanthus C scrolls with rocaille. The bowl with drill pierced decoration in a rosette pattern. Fully marked to the bowl interior.
