A SMALL COLLECTION OF CHINESE LACQUER ITEMS AND FOUR FIGURES.
Qing Dynasty and later.
Comprising a cinnabar lacquer box carved with a figure on a bridge in a watery landscape, a rectangular black lacquer jewellery box painted with apsaras, a cinnabar lacquer ‘dragon’ brushpot incised with four dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst cloud scrolls and waves, a bamboo brushpot with a cylindrical body with figures and animals near pavilions and trees in shallow relief, a stone carving of a lady wearing a flowing robe with a scarf billowing around her shoulders falling down to her feet, a basket in her left hand, a porcelain figure of a luohan in a long robe with a ferocious expression, a bronze Jigong standing on a rocky base wearing a long flowing robe with a band of key fret to the neckline holding a fan in his right hand, left hand holding a double gourd, and a jade seated figure of Guanyin with a scroll in her hand, 15.5 - 26cm H.
