A George III antique sterling silver teapot on stand, London 1790 by Peter & Johnathon Bateman The teapot of oval form and straight cylindrical spout, decorated with engraved bands of bright cut decoration, each side with a vacant oval cartouche beneath foliate and knotted ribbon swags. The handle and finial of ebonised wood. The teapot stand similarly decorated with engraved bands, sat upon four reeded splay feet.
