Opaque pigments, ink and pencil on paper, the vertical-format album page featuring a cut-out (découpage), hand-tinted lithograph of a Persian maiden sewing her skirt, knelt on a carpet in front of a small occasional table, pasted onto a plain folio of cream-coloured paper, set within concentric decorative illuminated borders with vegetal sprays and wild animals motifs amidst foliage and trees on blue and pink grounds respectively, and black, gold and green rules, mounted, framed and glazed, the folio 28cm x 19cm, 42cm x 32cm including the frame.
