Arabic manuscript on paper, 485 ff., each folio with 11ll. of late maghribi script in bright polychrome inks including unusual hues of hot pink and purple, the opening bifolio boldly illuminated in purples, reds and green with vegetal and geometric grids, catchwords, post-reading prayers, within polychrome rules, dated Jom'e at the end of Shawwal 1248, signed Mahdi Aba Abdullah, in dark brown blind-tooled morocco binding, the text panel 26.5cm x 17cm, the folio 36cm x 24cm.
