An early 20th century Norwegian ‘Arts and Crafts’ sterling silver and enamel biscuit box, Oslo circa 1910 by David Anderson
Of bombe oval form upon four short, moulded feet with stylised palmette junctions. The pull off gently domed lid surmounted by an open work ovoid finial. The lid and shoulder of base with cloisonne enamel arabesques and stylised flower heads and fruits. Gilt interior. Marked underneath, also stamped 5281.
