Various Photographers c.1890s A HAND COLOURED JAPANESE PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM, c.1890s, oblong folio, 350mm x 270mm, contemporary lacquered boards with gilted chrysanthemum inlaid carved bone design, a concertina album comprising of mounted hand-coloured albumen prints (67), larger image size, approx 255mm x 205mm (27), smaller image size, approx 130mm x 85mm (40), a number of examples with typescript titles in the negative, subjects include, Maikonohama, Banshui. Nunoniki Waterfalls, Moon Temple Kobe, Shiraito Waterfall at Fujikawa, Moji Harbour, Nagasaki Harbour, Nara Yamato, Ujikawa River, Togetsu Bridge, Kioto, Tea Houses, Isezzzaki-Cho, Yokohama, Tokyo, one leave detached, not affecting image otherwise an exceptionally bright and fine example of this type of album
