A Victorian Scottish unmarked silver and quartz mounted horn vinaigrette, circa 1880
The hinged mount with embossed decoration of trailing thistles inset with a Cairngorm quartz to top and tip. The front with an applied shield shaped cartouche with engraved initials MCP. The interior with a hinged drill pierced and engraved grill. With a suspension chain. Registration diamond for 29th July 1871.
