Arabic prose and Persian verses on ecru and blue paper, in black nasta’liq script, concerning the importance of good manners, the Arabic prose quoting Ali, pairs of birds on gold-sprinkled ground above and below the text, the verses at various angles interspersed with delicate illuminations, signed ‘Yari’, within gold and blue rulings, on woven paper embellished with gold flowering scrolls, mounted, framed and glazed, the text panel 24cm x 15cm, 47cm x 35.8cm including the frame.
