A George I Britannia standard silver sugar bowl and cover, London 1719 by William Fleming (reg. April 1697)
Of rounded circular form with a moulded rim upon a spreading circular foot, the pull off domed lid with a central foot to form a spoon tray. The front and centre of lid engraved initials as a mirror monogram surmounted by an Earl’s coronet, possibly ATC. Fully marked to the underside and part-marked to the lid.
