A COLLECTION OF DAGUERREOTYPE PORTRAITS c.1850, Finely hand tinted sixth plate Daguerreotypes (4) Gentlemen; a portrait of John Hamilton, taken before his departure to India in 1854, the other, the other a portrait of Alfred Buckhowle (?), each with manuscript titles in ink, together with two handcoloured portraits of Ladies, one of two younger women; perhaps sisters, the other, a finely hand tinted portrait of a lady standing, all plates housed in red morroco case with gilt lettering bearing Kilburn's 234 Regent Street address, two examples with push button side opening and two with hooks
