Persian manuscript on wove paper, 15ll. of black nasta’liq script to the page, the text an extract from the stories from the Ministry of Jesus, as well as from the life of Joseph, set in blue, black, gold, green, and red rules, the margins sparsely stenciled with birds and flowers in earthy tones, in ecru cloth mounts, framed and glazed, the text panel 19.5cm x 12.5cm, the folio 33cm x 22cm.
