Hallmarking interest - A George I Britannia standard silver mug, London 1715 by Robert Peake (reg. April 1697)

Of tapering cylindrical form with reeded slightly spreading foot. The upper section with incised concentric lines with a moulded rim. The hollow C scroll handle with thumbpiece. Engraved underneath with initials I*T in Roman script. Marked to right of handle, standard mark twice omitting town mark, makers mark to handle.
