A large George IV sterling silver meat dish, London 1824 by John Houle
Of shaped oval form with a gadrooned edge with husk shell and acanthus scrolls. Engraved to the edge with a crest out of a ducal coronet, a horse's fore-leg, opposed by a coat of arms with another quartered arms on an escutcheon of pretence within foliate mantling, with motto below Deo, regi, patriae. Fully marked to the reverse.
