A George IV sterling silver vinaigrette, Birmingham 1828 by John Bettridge
Of rectangular form, the hinged lid raised by a chased foliate scroll thumbpiece. Engine turned decoration the lid with a rectangular cartouche with initials MDS in cursive script. The gilt interior with a hinged pierced grill of foliate scrolls. Fully marked between lid and base.
