Soviet Order for the Surrender of German Troops, broadside issued by Soviet Commander-in-Chief of the 4th Ukrainian Front Andrey Yeryomenko, 1p. 8vo., browning and spotting, dated May 8, 1945.
*** A forceful appeal to German troops to lay down their arms after the surrender of the German High Command: 'On May 1, 1945, the High Command of the German Wehrmacht signed the unconditional military surrender of all German troops...soldiers, officers and generals must cease all acts of war...I warn: if [you] do not comply with my demand to stop the war...I will issue the order to remove all remnants of the German troops facing my troops, and to destroy [you]...'
