AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY ENGLISH MAHOGANY AND BRASS MOUNTED TRIPLE FUSEE EIGHT BELL TABLE / BRACKET CLOCK SIGNED HANDLEY & MOORE circa 1810, the triple pad top arched case surmounted by a brass swing carry handle, over a moulded cornicle, with pierce brass fish scale sound frets the sides and scrolling sound frets to the front, the rear door glazed, over a plinth base with bracket feet, the 8" painted dial with Roman numerals, signed 'Handley & Moore, London', the substantial movement with rectangular brass plates and triple fusee with anchor escapement, striking the full and quarter hours, both a on a large bell and playing Westminster chimes on a nest of eight graduated bells activated by a large pin wheel, with pendulum and case key, 49.5cm high (handle extended)
