A plug bayonet of circa 1715 for an officer's fusil, featuring an ivory grip, ornate iron cross guard and pommel, with a multi-fullered blade marked "ME FECIT SOLINGEN". The blade of 10 1/2 inches long, is probably from a cut-down backsword blade. (1)
