A late 19th / early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver dressing table box, Madras circa 1900
Raj period. Of oval form with a pull off lid. The sides with embossed decoration in Swami pattern of deities within circular vignettes, the lid embossed with the figures of Vishnu with Lakshmi and Prithvi. Together with three early 20th century small boxes, Bombay circa 1920, one oval, one circular and one of lobed form with a hinged lid, each with embossed decoration in Swami pattern. (4)
