An early 18th century Maltese silver sugar bowl base, circa 1720-30
Perellos / Vilhena period, of inverted baluster form upon a spreading circular foot. The shaped body with ribbed and indented sections. Marked underneath with assay mark MA below cross (Farrugia 17 e or 19d).
