A Victorian sterling silver egg cruet, Sheffield 1884 by Henry Wilkinson and Co
Of shaped quatrefoil form with a pierced basket weave decoration with a beaded rim, all raised upon four compressed ball feet. A twisted opposable swing handle. Fitted with four egg cups, pierced lattice pattern, gilt interiors. The base centre engraved with a crest of a griffin's head with wings addorsed, holding in the beak a key. Together with four William IV Scottish egg spoons, Edinburgh 1830 by James Howden & Co retailed by Adam Elder, single struck king’s pattern, each engraved with the same crest.
