A Victorian sterling silver teapot, London 1857 by John Samuel Hunt
Of lobed ‘melonized’ globular form upon a spreading lobed circular foot, the plain curved spout opposite a plain handle fitted with ivory insulators pinned to sockets. The hinged lid surmounted by a detachable lobed finial. Fully marked underneath, part-marked to the lid. Also stamped underneath HUNT & ROSKELL LATE STORR & MORTIMER 9085.
