A Victorian sterling silver tea caddy, London 1896 by Hawksworth, Eyre & Co Ltd
In the George II style, of inverted baluster panelled form with gadrooned room, with embossed decoration of flower heads, scrolls and ribbing. The pull off domed lid surmounted by an asymmetrical pyriform finial, embossed with acanthus leaves. Fully marked underneath and lid bezel, also both with retailer’s mark of a six-spoked wheel.
