A Victorian sterling silver meat skewer, London possibly 1849 by George Adams of Chawner and Co
Private Die, King’s Husk with the Husk pattern. Moulded ring terminal. Fully marked to edge.
Length – 26.5 cm / 10.4 inches
Weight – 89 grams / 2.86 ozt
Although traditionally known as Mansion House pattern, this once extensive service, first made in the 1820’s, it is most likely to represent the Law Courts of Dublin.
