A LARGE INDUS VALLEY JAR Circa late 3rd - early 2nd Millennium B.C. With a bulbous body, surmounted by a short neck with an everted concave narrow rim, the body decorated with black slip decoration, the central band depicting stylised plump birds with striped bodies, with stamped rosettes surrounding the shoulder and two bands of stamped dots above, 22.3cm high.
