A fine antique Imperial Russian Solid 84 Zolotnik (.875) Silver three piece tea set of pear shape, consisting of teapot, lidded sugar bowl and cream / milk jug. Each piece sits atop a single colet foot and features beautifully engraved floral decoration to one side, surrounding a central monogrammed cartouche. The reverse of the cream jug is inscribed in Russian: "Отъ иногородных коммерсантов г. новочеркасска. 8 Февраля 1906 года." "From the foreign merchants of Novocherkasska. 8th February 1906."
