Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the vertical composition depicting the Hindu god Krishna, identified by his elaborate headdress with a peacock's feather at the top, combing his beloved Radha's hair, an attendant standing in front of the couple and holding a mirror for Radha to see the progress of her beauty ritual, behind the pair an elaborate arch with flower garlands, possibly a small devotional sanctum, peacocks perched in the trees livening the vegetal background, the scene set within black and white rules and green and red borders, 27.6cm x 20cm.
