A VERY FINE SILK KASHAN RUG, CENTRAL PARSIA approx: 5ft.3in. x 3ft.4in.(160cm. x 102cm.) The field with stylised garden deign of flowering trees, floral vases, birds and floral vine . In floral and animal cartouche border between floral and zig-zag stripes. There is slight wear to the top pile in few places on the field, other wise good pile. Ends with short fringes, selvages rebound. In general this rug is in good usable condition. Fine weave approx; 8 x 7 knots per sq. cm. Good colour combination.
