A George III sterling silver nutmeg grater, London 1792 by Thomas Phipps and Edward Robinson
of oval form with a hinged lid and to base, bright cut engraved decoration against a raying engine turned ground, centred with a cartouche reserved with an oak leaf wreath, engraved with traces of flourished script initials. The interior with a ferrous grating plate. The lower hinged lid engraved “from Reba Hamilton”. Fully and part-marked.
