Arabic manuscript on paper, with 9ll. of black ink riqa' script in parallel diagonals (chalipa format), the text referring to a poetic quatrain of Abu Nuwas (d. 814) regarding repentance, laid on a matching off-white ground, within a taupe grey border, mounted, glazed, and framed, the text panel 17cm x 9cm, 36.8cm x 17.7cm including the frame.
