FOUR BRASS PANDAN LIDDED BOXES, Indonesian Archipelago, South-East Asia, 19th century, all of typical elongated octagonal shape, with hinged lids and flat bases, two plain, two engraved with vegetal bands, the largest 15cm x 7.5cm, the smallest 10cm x 4.5cm.

Provenance: Purchased by current owner when he was based in Indonesia (1976 - 1981).
