Opaque pigments heightened with gold, the vertical composition depicting an enthroned Jain ruler or Tirthankara, half-clad in a yellow skirt, with a bare chest, wearing several necklaces, strands of pearls and a long flower garland, with a pearl crown, surmounted by a caparisoned golden parasol, two half-clad attendants to the sides of the Tirthankara, holding fly-whisks and wearing similar crowns, set within red and white rules and grey, blue and red borders, 18cm x 12cm.
