FOUR BRASS PANDAN LIDDED BOXES, Indonesian Archipelago, South-East Asia, 19th century, three of typical octagonal shape with flat bases and hinged lids, two with engraved decoration to the body and lid, one plain; the fourth box of rectangular shape, also with a flat base, hinged lid and plain, the largest 14.5cm x 8.5cm.

Provenance: Purchased by current owner when he was based in Indonesia (1976 - 1981).
