A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'ZHONG KUI' BRUSH POT, BITONG.

Probably Transitional period, circa 1640.

The gently waisted body painted with an encounter of the Demon Queller and his victim submitting on his knees, the victorious figure carrying a fly whisk and a double gourd, the rims with scrolling anhua borders between double bands, 15cm H.
