A pair of George III sterling silver twin handled salts, London 1806 by Daniel Pontifex (reg. Sep 1794)
Of compressed circular form with fluted body and cavetto top leading to a gadrooned rim, each on a circular base with gadrooned edge. Gilt interiors. The handles of rectangular section with leaf junctions. One engraved to the cavetto with a crest of a goat trippant. Each fully marked underneath. (2)
