Tang Dynasty or later.

The ovoid body rising from a short spreading foot to a tapering neck with everted flaring rim, the shoulder with a strap handle opposite a short conical spout separated by a pair of lug handles, covered in a thick chocolate-brown glaze with irregular straw-coloured splashes falling short of the foot, together with a wood box, 24cm H. (3)
