A George III sterling silver chafing dish stand, London 1802 by Paul Storr (1771 - 1844, reg. 12th Jan 1793)
Of the base of circular form with gadrooned edge raised on four acanthus scroll feet, the dished centre with detachable single burner of cylindrical urn form with gadrooned rim. The receptacle ring with four leaf form supports, gadrooned rim, raised on four fluted legs with lion paw feet, attached to the base. Part-marks to base edge, top ring edge, as well as burner and cover.
