Of deep rounded shape, on a curved plain base, with slightly everted rim, the body engraved with several horizontal decorative bands filled with bold nasta'liq calligraphy referring to the Shi'a Imams set against a scrolling floral ground; interlocking vegetal tendrils and rosettes; and cusped medallions filled with arabesques and vegetal motifs, 38cm diam.
