A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE VASE, CONG. Qing Dynasty, 18th Century. Modelled after an archaic jade cong, each long edge of the square-sectioned body with four raised horizontal bands within a raised rectangular frame against a diaper ground painted in underglaze blue, all supported on a short foot and surmounted by a gently tapered neck, decorated down the central panel with painted floral panels enclosed within fruit and fan-shaped roundels, the neck and foot decorated with a pendant ruyi head band, 34cm H. 清十八世紀 青花開光繪花卉紋琮式瓶
